Whole Brain® Practitioner Spotlight
This month, we’re spotlighting @Praveen Dwarika, Managing Director at @AFGRI Farmer Development.
What inspired your journey into Whole Brain® Thinking?
Having done my HDBI assessment in 2016 and gaining a deep understanding of Whole Brain® Thinking (WBT) as a new leader, I immersed myself in exploring leadership through the lens of diverse thinking, particularly in our evolving and dynamic agricultural landscape.
After completing my MBA and Life Coaching certification, I approached Melanie Kiley about becoming a certified Practitioner and joined one of the the early E-Cert cohorts. This was driven by my unwavering belief in the magic behind WBT and its practical implementability in AFGRI.
what has been the impact of whole brain® thinking in your work and life?
Understanding my profile help me unpack blind spots and make better, well-informed decisions in both my professional and personal life.
Taking individuals and teams at AFGRI through the WBT journey has been fantastic. I’ve worked across several business units and support functions, and the results have always been excellent.
As our workforce becomes more generationally, culturally and racially diverse, the understanding and acceptance of cognitive diversity is paramount and WBT support this process perfectly.
What’s the one magic insight or practical tip you keep coming back to?

The AHA moments in the feedback sessions continue to inspire me to adopt Whole Brain® Thinking as the go-to for team dysfunctions and communication challenges.
WBT will always be my first port-of-call for addressing team dysfunctions.
